Grass Fed Cattle

 About four years ago we tasted grass fed/finished beef for the first time and we are hooked!  There is no comparison!  The meat has an incredible "beefy" smell and flavor, as well as no need to drain off fat/grease, in fact, I had to add a little oil to the pan when browning to keep the meat from sticking.  Not only is it so much better for your health it is incredible in it's flavor.

We started our herd with one cow, Bunny, and her calf.  We are up three cows and two heifer calves.  Still in the process of increasing the herd as we keep having females - that's a good thing for herd size however, not so much for having beef available.  Keep checking back.
